Roundtable – “Historical Dwellings: Challenges & Perspectives”
On November 26, 2016 a round table was held, where Blue Shield presented its research findings on the topic of Georgia’s historical dwellings.
The research included three regions of Georgia: Samegrelo, Upper Svaneti and Meskheti and its historical mundane architecture, as well as examples of local dwellings.
The problems were marked, whereas scientists have studied its current condition and the challenges they face.
Minor sociological research was also conducted which indicated the attitudes and the role of local people, self-governments and cultural institutions in preserving the monuments.
The research has also elaborated relevant recommendations.
The results of the research will be available soon on our website.
