“First Aid to Cultural Heritage in Times of Crisis – Youth Volunteering Program” aims to expand the network of cultural heritage defenders in emergency situations within the country.
The project involves retraining a team of trainers and with their help engaging young volunteers from six regions of Georgia in the protection of cultural heritage in emergency situations. Participants, which will include IDP youth and youth from ethnic and religious minority groups, will learn about threats to cultural heritage, engage in practical exercises and join the Blue Shield volunteer team.
Project Objectives:
- Improve cultural heritage protection skills in Georgian youth from the county’s regions.
- Raise awareness of risks and needs of Cultural Heritage during the crisis.
