The training of trainers “First Aid to Cultural Heritage in Times of Crisis” was organized by Blue Shield Georgia in Tbilisi.
11 trainers from the field of cultural heritage and the Georgian National Guard participated in the four-day training. საქართველოს ეროვნული გვარდია / National Guard of Georgia.
On the I, II and III days of the training, the participants got acquainted with the principles of adult education, and the issues related to cultural heritage threats and engaged in practical exercises.
On the IV day, they took part in a simulation, which involved the emergency evacuation of cultural heritage objects.
The purpose of the training is to share theoretical and practical knowledge with the participants, which will help them to participate in the organization of similar trainings in the future.
The project is funded through the Alumni Grants Program, U.S. Embassy in Georgia.
