Manana Tevzadze is the board member and former Chair of the Georgian National Committee of the Blue Shield (2012-2022). With a master’s degree in World Heritage Studies from Brandenburg University of Technology Cottbus Senftenberg, she brings\u00a0almost 20\u00a0years of experience in Georgia’s cultural heritage sector. During her tenure as the first chair of Blue Shield Georgia Manana succeeded in developing a strong civil society organisation advocating for cultural heritage disaster risk preparedness, which delivered tangible results in the form of national and international partnerships,\u00a0raised awareness on cultural heritage protection in times of crises in Georgia, organization of trainings and provision professional resources in the Georgian language.<\/p>\n
